| Walking through the sally port of Fort
Moultrie. The fort, located at the entrance to Charleston
Harbor was used for coastal defense from the American Revolution
through World War II. Each section of the fort has been
restored to how it looked in the different eras that the
fort was in use to show the changes in coastal defense.
