A replica of the Aurora 7 mercury capsul aboard the USS Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum in New York City. The Intrepid was the recovery ship for the Mercury-Atlas 7 mission, America's 4th space flight & the 2nd orbital mission. The actual Aurora 7 is on display at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago, Illinois. They want to bring a Space Shuttle to the Intrepid Museum... it makes more sence to me to bring the actual Aurora 7 there instead.
