| Visiting the Flight 232 Memorial in Sioux City while on a layover with my work as a flight attendant for Mesaba Airlines. The monument was erected to the memory of United Airlines flight 232, which crashed in Sioux City on July 19, 1989, and to the rescue crews on the ground. Of the 296 people aboard, 111 were killed in the crash, while 185 survived. |
