My name is Dave Jordan and im from the UK. I was looking around the internet and came across your web site today, great site my friend and its a fantastic quest/hobby/job :-) you have set yourself there.

My brother and I had a bet with a friend in the pub (never a good place to make a bet) that we could visit every state in the USA and get a fridge magnet from each one. Well i like a challenge and thats what we have set about doing. in the 2 years since the bet was made we have done 3 'tours' as we call them, and we have visited 30 states to date.
We also take pics of the welcome signs but our main objective is to get the fridge magnets from each state.

Thats really how i found your site and i have bookmarked it for sure.

Anyhow roger, i just wanted to say Hi and well done on your web-site. You have inspired me to keep going with my goal/dream.

Yours truly

I like Fifty States Fifty Days! I especially like the different landmarks where you set up the camera and run into the shot, but maybe that's just because I love taking pictures. I also like that you show the map everytime you go somewhere new. Great show!

Fifty States in Fifty Days is awesome.  I think you have something really marketable there.  The pace is wonderful and the visuals are always interesting.  My only notes would be to spend more time on the quirky roadside interesting stuff and maybe a little less
on the driving stuff.  I think people get that driving in a car is tedious at best but a necessary evil for a road trip.  But thats being picky.  I think the show itself was fantastic.  The leads are engaging. I like how the show ends leaving you wanting more. Nicely done!  Thumbs up!  I'd watch it!

I have followed your site since I found it a few years ago. We travel a lot and try to do state signs when we can. My son and I love the videos on your site lately. We are so excited about the 50 states tour! After seeing your map of places you had been, he wanted to do one of places I have been. I go through atlases like crazy. I just plain wear them out. So, many of the routes we have taken are lost to our memories! I wanted to thank you for the respectable fun site that I can go to and enjoy with my son.

Sincerely,
Pam Faulkner

I never knew there was a giant ball of twine less then TWO HOURS from my house!  In the pilot episode, armed only with an Atlas and their enthusiasm, Roger and Haley visit Minnesota and Wisconsin’s capitals, roadside oddities, and tourist attractions as they work their way across the country maintaining a grueling schedule.

The 50 States 50 Days pilot episode does a great job of capturing the spontaneity and the art of the “road trip”. For example a spur of the moment stop at a hey… I mean HAY field along with the customary travel games every family has played for generations. Each destination is narrated with fascinating and educational facts which keep the viewer interested, entertained, and informed. Add in beautiful scenery and you have a show that makes 50 States/50 Days appealing to both children and adults of all ages in a way few shows do these days.

There’s a definite chemistry between Roger and Haley. Both are cast well without being the cliché male/female co hosts. Haley brings an enthusiasm and infectious laugh and is clearly knowledgeable about the science side while Roger is the travel expert who flirts with the role of straight man. Both are charming and likeable and clearly educated about what they’re showing the audience. And most importantly, it never feels like what they’re doing is work. You can tell they’re having fun and you want to see and do the things they’re doing.

I’m trying to find a weekend in the near future to go see Minnesota’s Largest Ball of Twine. And that could be the best endorsement for 50 States/50 Days that I could offer.

I loved Fifty States Fifty Days, I stayed up until the whole thing was complete. I thought it was cute when you two were sitting down eating chilli. I couldnt stop laughing. It really seems like somthing that I can see myself watching on tv. I also like when she had the leech on her foot talking about it. I think its going to be cool!

I´m a huge fan of the USA, and have since 1993 traveled 47 states, next week I´m going back to the USA to visit the last 3 states (south carolina, north carolina, and hawaii). I have really enjoyed to look at your pictures, but also the rest of your webpage.

I´m from Copenhagen in Denmark, if you ever visit Denmark, let me know.
