hi, my name is Tim and I live in the New England area. While I was searching through the internet on google, I came upon your website.
After looking it over, I was amazed at how much I am missing by just staying at home. I started looking up national parks and saw there were about 388 (something like that) national parks, monuments, historic sites, etc. in the U.S, and that shocked me. After looking at your site, I've come to see America in a new way and would love to
one day travel the country, visiting all the states and if I'm lucky, as many of the 388 or so parks I can.
This is very interesting to me, what you do, and I hope to do something like this one day too. Any help you can give me on getting started and when to start would be greatly appreciated.
Tim
Just wanted to say that I thought your web page was fantastic! You've
accomplished something that I myself hope to one day accomplish...that
being to to travel to all 50 states and have my picture taken next to all
the welcome signs (being from Canada, you might think thats a little
bizarre!). Ive been to several states, but only started the welcome sign
picture thing on my last trip, which netted me Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico,
Arizona, and Nevada. Not a bad start! 5 down, 45 to go!
Again, great job on the web page! I have it bookmarked and plan to drop in
from time to time to see whats up. All the best to you in your travels!

We ran across you site working on a ninth grade school project and wanted to thank you.
My daughter has to plan a trip through 11 states plan a budget, your picture of the states welcome signs really came in handy for their photo album.
Just wanted to say thanks, So Thanks
I just want to tell you what a beautiful tribute you have made to Minnesota on your web site! Very nicely done and informative to boot. I am born and raised in Minnesota and have lived close to Minneapolis my entire life, all 72 years of it! Thanks for the great work. I enjoyed visiting very much!
Sincerely,
Peggy

I've enjoyed your site & I, too, stop along the way & snap welcome sign photos. I've been to every state now except Alaska, & have taken welcome signs in the 48 contiguous states.
Keep up the good work.
Best wishes,

For some reason or another, Ive always wanted to see all 50 states. I
have about half down and am only 23 so I figure I have a good shot to
complete the journey. Stumbling upon your site was a very, very cool
thing. Thanks for all the great shots.

Hi, I'm Paul from Wisconsin.
Your webpage is one of my favorites of the
entire internet. I visit it often.
My wife and I have a similar goal. We want to visit all 50 states before we
are fifty years old. We call our plan 50X50 (fifty by fifty). We like to get
off the beaten path during our travels, and visit as many counties in each
state. Like you we take a picture at the state line sign, and put it in an
album I refer to as my evidence book (proof I've been there). In June & July
of this year we are taking a few weeks and traveling through Washington,
Oregon, Idaho, & Nevada. We will then be at 48 states, with only Alaska & Hawaii to go. We are both 40 so we're pretty sure we'll make our dead line.
You're site is an inspiration to us.
I, too, have a fascination with travel -- spent many years on the road traveling doing perfromances (at that time, mostly performing at Renaissance Festivals). I liked to tell people I knew every tree on I-70...
Just wanted to drop a line saying I liked your site. Stumbled across it while looking for some flags.
Best,
Lauren
